About the event
The art of storytelling with photography.
As a professional photographer I started out in food photography and the stories behind the people and the ingredients with a focus on a raw style of aesthetic, this basically means using no lights or studio set ups just using what I have in my current surrounds. I loved to create imagery which would tell a story.
In this workshop I will give a presentation on the fundamentals of storytelling and how this can translate through our images and post processing style. We will discuss angles | focal lengths | conveying the story and aesthetic.
What you can expect, we will be at the local restaurant of Serotonin which has an ethos around raw foods and organic produce, we will be curating a story throughout the pizza making process. You will learn how to interact with photograph in a real-world setting. You will be creating a story of imagery that shows this beautiful process. You will also receive a Google Docs that will contain the information that was covered in the workshop.
And maybe some pizza at the end!
